JC Toland’s involvement at The Nest in Iowa City was significant to say the least. We were awarded all of the metal-stud framing, drywall (hanging & finishing) and coating work throughout the building. As our framers would finish and move up a floor, our drywallers would take their place. Once drywall was skimmed, smoothed and passed, the drywallers would move up a floor and our painters would take their place. While we had no role in the exterior panels, the exterior photos below are to help capture the scale of the building. In total, we framed, rocked, finished, and painted 182 bedrooms in 101 units here at The Nest; in addition to painting all doors/frames and stairwells throughout the property.
