Project Details
Northwest Bank in Ames, Iowa showcases the wide range of services JC Toland Painting provides on commercial construction projects. Working under Henkel Construction, our team played a key role in transforming the building from a structural shell into a finished, functional banking facility.
Our work began with cold formed exterior metal stud framing, connecting to the structural steel and helping enclose the building with sheathing and vapor barrier installation. From there, we laid out and framed interior walls according to architectural plans, creating the framework for offices, conference rooms, and public spaces.
Once framing was complete, our team installed insulation to support energy efficiency, comfort, and sound control throughout the facility. We then moved into drywall installation and finishing, carefully hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and preparing every surface for paint.
The final phase included priming and painting the interior spaces with durable commercial coatings designed to withstand the demands of a high-traffic banking environment. From teller areas to offices and meeting rooms, every surface received the attention to detail required to achieve a professional finish.
Projects like Northwest Bank highlight JC Toland Painting's ability to self-perform multiple trades under one scope, helping streamline coordination while maintaining consistent quality. The completed facility stands as an example of the craftsmanship, reliability, and expertise we bring to commercial construction projects across Iowa and the Midwest.
