Project Details
JC Toland Painting completed an electrostatic painting project for a tire manufacturing facility, utilizing specialized coating technology to restore warehouse equipment and improve the overall appearance of active production spaces. The project focused on refinishing existing metal assets while minimizing overspray and disruption within the operating facility.
Over time, industrial equipment, racking systems, guards, and other metal surfaces can experience coating deterioration caused by daily use, material handling, and exposure to manufacturing environments. Rather than replacing these assets, electrostatic painting provides an efficient method for restoring appearance and extending service life through the application of a durable new finish.
For this project, JC Toland utilized electrostatic spray technology, which electrically charges the coating material as it is applied to grounded metal surfaces. This process creates a highly uniform finish with superior transfer efficiency compared to conventional spray methods. The attraction between the coating and substrate allows for consistent coverage while reducing overspray, material waste, and airborne paint particles.
The result was a smooth, factory-like finish across the refinished equipment, improving both appearance and surface protection throughout the warehouse environment. Electrostatic application also allowed work to be completed efficiently while supporting cleanliness and operational continuity within the facility.
This project demonstrates JC Toland Painting's expertise in specialized industrial coating applications, providing manufacturers with practical solutions for equipment refinishing, maintenance painting, and long-term asset preservation.
