Project Details

Welcome to the new Waukee Aquatics Center in Waukee, Iowa, formerly known as the Waukee CSD Natatorium. This major Waukee Community School District project took approximately two years to complete. Now finished, it serves students, staff, athletes, and the community as a modern aquatic and educational facility. JC Toland Painting is proud to have contributed to this institutional construction project in Iowa.

As a commercial painting contractor in Iowa, JC Toland Painting partnered with Henkel Construction on this large-scale facility. From the aquatic center to classrooms, locker rooms, offices, and support areas, our team completed finishes across nearly every interior space. The project demonstrates the scale and coordination required for institutional painting services.

Our primary scope focused on the aquatic area, where we primed and painted ceilings, rafters, beams, and exposed ductwork. Because natatorium environments demand durability, we applied high-performance coatings designed for moisture resistance and long-term performance. In addition, we ensured a clean, consistent finish that complements the open architectural design.

Beyond the pool area, we completed painting throughout classrooms, offices, locker rooms, and operational spaces. These areas required consistent preparation and finish quality across all surfaces. As a result, the entire facility maintains a cohesive interior appearance from public spaces to back-of-house rooms.

This project highlights JC Toland Painting’s experience with commercial and institutional painting in Iowa. Specifically, we deliver durable coatings for schools, athletic facilities, and aquatic centers. The Waukee Aquatics Center stands as a strong example of coordinated construction and high-quality finishing work.
