Project Details
Dining facilities serve as gathering places for students, faculty, and campus visitors, making durability, functionality, and appearance equally important. At Pfeiffer Dining Hall on the Simpson College campus, JC Toland Painting provided a comprehensive range of interior construction and finishing services to support the renovation and improvement of this high-use space. The project began with the installation of metal stud framing and drywall systems, creating the foundation for updated interior layouts and finishes. Our team also installed acoustical ceiling tile (ACT) systems and acoustical ceiling panels, helping improve sound control and create a comfortable environment for dining and student interaction.
To complete the space, JC Toland provided interior painting services throughout the project, delivering clean, consistent finishes that complemented the facility's updated design. The scope also included the installation of fiberglass reinforced panels (FRP) in designated areas, providing durable, moisture-resistant surfaces well-suited for food service and back-of-house environments.
By combining multiple trades under one contractor, JC Toland helped streamline project coordination while maintaining quality and schedule expectations. The completed improvements enhanced both the appearance and functionality of Pfeiffer Dining Hall, creating a welcoming space designed to serve the Simpson College community for years to come.
