Project Details

Proxi Lawrence, a student housing development located near the University of Kansas campus, required comprehensive interior and exterior finishing services to support the demands of a high-occupancy residential environment. JC Toland Painting provided complete commercial painting and vinyl wall covering installation throughout the project, delivering durable, high-quality finishes across both private and common-use spaces.

Our scope included interior painting of student units, corridors, lounges, amenity spaces, and administrative areas. Work began with thorough surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming to ensure proper coating adhesion and long-term performance. High-performance coating systems were then applied to walls, ceilings, and trim to provide a consistent, durable finish capable of withstanding daily wear in a student housing setting.

In addition to painting, JC Toland installed vinyl wall coverings throughout designated common areas. These systems were selected to enhance durability while providing a modern, professional appearance in high-traffic gathering spaces. Careful attention was given to seam alignment, edge detailing, and overall finish quality.

The project also included exterior painting of the complex using commercial-grade coating systems designed to withstand weather exposure, UV degradation, and routine environmental wear. High-visibility areas, including entryways, balconies, stairwells, and exterior common spaces, received specialized attention to ensure long-term performance and curb appeal.

The completed project demonstrates JC Toland Painting's expertise in large-scale multi-unit residential developments, delivering durable, attractive finishes that support both aesthetics and long-term building performance.
