Recreation and aquatic facilities present unique challenges for coatings and finishes due to constant exposure to moisture, humidity, and heavy public use. At the Northside Recreational Facility, JC Toland Painting provided a combination of high-performance coating applications and interior painting services designed to enhance durability, protect building components, and create an inviting environment for visitors.A significant portion of the project involved applying high-performance coating systems to pool walls and metal surfaces throughout the aquatic areas. These coatings were selected to withstand the demanding conditions commonly found in recreational facilities while helping protect critical building assets from moisture-related deterioration.
On the exterior, our team applied a long-lasting fluoropolymer coating system designed to deliver exceptional color retention, weather resistance, and long-term performance. This specialized coating helps preserve the building's appearance while reducing maintenance requirements over time.
Additional work included painting interior precast concrete, CMU, and drywall wall surfaces, along with exposed structure ceilings, doors, and frames throughout the facility. Careful preparation and coating application ensured a consistent, durable finish capable of withstanding daily use in a high-traffic public environment.
