Project Details

The Indianola High School addition and renovation project was designed to expand and enhance the learning environment while seamlessly integrating new spaces with the existing facility. JC Toland Painting provided a comprehensive range of interior and exterior painting services that helped bring the updated vision for the school to life. Our scope included painting gypsum board walls and ceilings, open-to-structure ceilings, exposed steel beams and columns, and hollow metal doors and frames throughout the addition and renovated areas. We also completed painting of exposed steel stair components, including stringers, risers, and guardrail supports, helping create a cohesive appearance across prominent architectural features. To support the school's architectural design, our team painted acoustic panels and custom stenciled lettering incorporated throughout the interior spaces. These finishes contributed to the facility's identity while enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Exterior work included painting handrails, guardrails, steel lintels, galvanized steel channels, vertical plate fins, and entrance steel columns. As part of the project, JC Toland applied high-performance coating systems, including specialty insulative coatings, to help protect building components, improve long-term durability, and support the facility's ongoing maintenance goals. Projects involving active educational facilities require careful coordination, attention to detail, and consistent quality across both new and existing spaces. Through specialty coatings, architectural finishes, and detailed craftsmanship, JC Toland helped deliver an updated educational environment that will serve students, staff, and the Indianola community for years to come.
