Latitude at River Landing is a large student housing development in Iowa City, Iowa, designed to serve students attending the University of Iowa. JC Toland Painting provided commercial interior painting services throughout the project, helping deliver a finished environment that balances durability, aesthetics, and long-term performance.
Our scope included apartment units, kitchens, corridors, and shared amenity spaces throughout the development. With a large number of residential units and common areas requiring completion within a coordinated construction schedule, maintaining consistency across every space was a primary objective. Each area received the same level of attention to surface preparation, coating application, and finish quality to create a uniform appearance throughout the property.
Student housing environments demand coating systems capable of withstanding frequent occupancy, daily wear, and routine maintenance. Commercial-grade paint systems were applied to provide durable, easy-to-maintain finishes while supporting the modern design aesthetic of the development. High-traffic corridors and common areas required particular attention to ensure long-term performance without compromising appearance.
