Project Details

The new Nebraska State Penitentiary opening 2028 in Lincoln, Nebraska, will include a variety of specialized coating systems and architectural finishes designed to support the performance, durability, and appearance of the facility. JC Toland Painting’s scope of work includes Aerolon insulative coatings, high-performance coatings, vinyl wall covering, and interior and exterior coatings.

As part of the project, our team will apply Aerolon, a specialized insulative coating system used to provide thermal performance and help address condensation and temperature-related challenges on specified surfaces.

Our scope will also include the application of high-performance coating systems throughout designated areas of the facility. These coatings are selected for environments where surfaces require additional durability and protection beyond traditional architectural finishes, helping support long-term performance and ongoing maintenance.

In addition to specialty coating applications, JC Toland will install vinyl wall covering and complete interior and exterior coating work throughout specified areas of the project. With multiple finish systems included within our scope, the project will require careful coordination of surface preparation, product requirements, and application methods as construction progresses.

The Nebraska State Penitentiary project brings together several of JC Toland Painting’s commercial and specialty coating capabilities under one scope. We look forward to putting our experience to work and contributing to another large-scale project in Nebraska.
