Cedar Stone Senior Living in Cedar Falls, Iowa is a modern senior living facility designed for comfort, safety, and accessibility. Built by Nelson Construction, the project provided JC Toland Painting an opportunity to support a large-scale, high-quality interior build. Our team completed framing, drywall installation and finishing, commercial painting, and vinyl wallcovering throughout the facility, helping deliver a clean and functional environment for residents, staff, and visitors.At over 125,000 square feet, Cedar Stone required strong coordination and consistent execution across multiple phases. Our crews worked closely with other trades to maintain schedule alignment and quality control. We framed dropped ceilings and bulkheads with precision to support architectural design and mechanical systems. In addition, our drywall teams installed, taped, and finished surfaces to ensure smooth and uniform results throughout the building.
Once prep work was complete, our painters applied coatings to walls, ceilings, doors, frames, and trim. As a result, each residential unit, corridor, and common area maintains a consistent and durable finish. Meanwhile, our vinyl wallcovering installers carefully aligned seams to achieve a clean, professional appearance in high-traffic spaces.
Cedar Stone includes private rooms, dining areas, recreation spaces, and administrative offices. Each space required careful sequencing and attention to detail to meet durability and aesthetic expectations. Our team maintained close coordination with all onsite trades throughout construction.
