JC Toland Painting completed comprehensive interior finishing services for the new AVID Hotel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, providing commercial painting, vinyl wall covering installation, and specialty wall texture applications throughout the property. The project included guest rooms, corridors, and common areas, requiring durable, high-quality finishes suitable for a modern hospitality environment.
Work began with thorough surface preparation, including patching, sanding, cleaning, and priming all drywall, ceilings, and trim surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and long-term coating performance. This preparation established the foundation for consistent, high-quality finishes throughout the hotel.
A significant portion of the project involved the installation of vinyl wall coverings in guest rooms and common areas. These systems were selected to enhance aesthetics while providing increased durability in high-traffic spaces.
