Jeremy Toland, owner of JC Toland Painting, first started his painting journey as a Summer job, while he was framing houses. What started as Jeremy and a few buddies painting houses as a part-time gig, grew rather quickly to a few vans and then even more quickly grew to becoming one of the leading residential painters in the Des Moines area.
In 2011, Jeremy made the official move into the commercial market, hiring several talented and established estimators, project managers and superintendents. Between 2011 and 2016, JC Toland experienced tremendous growth year after year in both their residential and commercial painting services.
Around 2016, JC Toland shifted from the residential market to larger commercial and industrial focused projects. This shift in markets allows JC Toland to continue on its trajectory of growth, now being named one of the top 10 largest painting contractors in the Midwest and one of the top 50 in the United States.
What contributed to JC Toland’s success?
Many suspect Jeremy has a cot in his office where he slept most nights after working such long hours to shape JC Toland into what it is today.
